Indus Health Network leads two main centers of excellence – The Blood Center and Physical Rehabilitation Center. The Blood Center is making blood products from replacement donors safe; promoting voluntary blood donation in the general population; and is building the capacity of skilled human resource. The Physical Rehabilitation Center caters to the needs of disabled people in urgent need of rehabilitation services.

The Indus Hospital Blood Center
The Indus Hospital’s Blood Center is the first centralized blood center of Pakistan. It came into existence with the mission to mobilize the nation towards 100% voluntary blood donations. The center and its affiliates provide the safest possible blood – meeting international standards – to all segments of the society without any discrimination.

Physical Rehabilitation Center
IHN has established four rehabilitation centers in the cities of Karachi, Lahore, Muzaffargarh and Badin in Pakistan, with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross; CHAL Foundation; and provincial governments. The centers provide prosthetic and orthotic devices, mobility aids like wheelchairs, tri-cycles, crutches, and physiotherapy.
